It's Back!

Hey guys, luckily for all of us, the Battlewagon Bits website is back up! You can by specific model parts for conversions or just to keep all of your troops looking like they belong to the same army! More importantly, they have the small (and cheap!) rulebook from the Battle For Skull Pass for only $15! It might be good to do a big order together, so just post if there's anything on the website you want. I highly, HIGHLY reccommend that you buy the cheap Skull Pass rulebook. It has all the same rules, and costs a lot less then the $50 hardcover rulebook. I'll post the site here, and also on the side with the rest of the links. Enjoy!

Progress

Here's a pic of one of my unfinished warriors. Fact of the matter is, this is the only one that I've gotten anywhere near this far with.

...By the Wei....

Every say hello to Wei Hao (pronounced "way how"), who's going to be playing a Tomb Kings army. He's a great guy and a strong Christian, help make him feel welcome!

Gaming Time!

Alright, I pretty much have told this to everyone, but I want to put it down on the page so it's official. After thinking long and hard about availability and trying to make our meeting time the same every week, I announce the gaming day/time here:

Sundays at 1:00pm - 4:00pm (or so)

Church is over, you have time to eat some food (or bring it with you), and nobody that I'm aware of has to work at this time. The Oswegonians will drive down and go to church, then back to my place for gaming. We won't be meeting this Sunday as I have a previous engagment, but next Sunday, the 23rd, it's on like Donkey Kong.

Any major issues, let me know. I just want to say from the get-go that I know some people will not be able to come every time. I understand that things come up. But I don't believe it's an unreasonable time request, and I know we'll all have a good time! All I'm asking is for three hours or so on one day a week. You guys know I put a lot of time, money, and effort into Warhammer, and it's because I want to be able to hang out with my buddies and enjoy some competitive gaming with a lot of replayablility. I can't wait to get started, I'm excited and I hope you are too! Bring your paints, your modelling tools if you have some guys to build, a tapemeasure, some dice, and of course your army!

Status Update!

Here's a picture of my boyz, who are still a work-in-progress but have all the base colors done at least. Get a move on!! I'm pretty sure Scott's the only one farther along then I am...but now that he's married, it's time for us all to close the gap!

Games Day Los Angeles Golden Demon Winners

Here are some pictures of the fantastic models that won awards at the LA Games Day this year. I hope these inspire you to new heights of painting genius!

Squig hopper. Oi!!
Ogre Tyrant, complete with HUGE weapon.
Bretonnia's King Louen Leoncoeur on his griffon.
An Empire Fire Mage, all burney and whatnot.
Dwarfen Thane, notice the non-metallic paints used on the weapon and armor.

A Centigor standard bearer from the Beasts of Chaos army.

The Great Unclean One of Nurgle. Just plain nasty.

Here We Go!

Well, since we all have such hectic schedules and we may not always be in the same place at the same time, now at least we can know what's going on with each other's armys!

I'm thinking it'll be easier to use this site to post hobby stuff, show articles or sites I've found on the internet, and hopefully some battle reports that have been colorfully narrated! Also, when people start getting their army painted, we can post some pics or even show the work in progress to motivate each other/incite jealousy!

I am really excited about setting this up and gaming with you guys, I hope you are too.
